"I consider regulating the nervous system with embodiment and self-compassion key elements of transformation, and believe that we can thrive in our relationships and lives by engaging in them from an integrated and embodied state.
I believe we all have an evolutionary impulse to grow and transform, and that when we are feeling stuck, it is the power of presence that brings us back to this impulse. I believe deeply in the power of presence, and enhancing the dialogue between mind, body, and spirit with awareness and self-compassion.
In our work together, we will explore what your embodied sense of self feels and looks like. We will work to strengthen the muscles of self-soothing and self-accountability, and share in the humor and joys, too. This work does not always have to be so serious! I think there is much to be learned from laughter and ease.
I work with individuals, couples, and have particular experience working with the highly sensitive person and relationships to food. For couples, we will address challenges collaboratively, establishing effective tools to communicate boundaries and needs, and deepen intimacy and passion."
